Muuga CT is the first terminal in the Baltic region and second in Europe to receive the CTQI (Container Terminal Quality Indicator) Certificate.

The audit was conducted by Germanischer Lloyd GmbH on the performance data for the period from 01.07.2008 to 30.06.2009.

According to the audit report, Muuga CT has established and maintains a Container Terminal Quality Management System according to the CTQI standard. It is also confirmed that Muuga CT has successfully achieved the required benchmarks for Performance Analysis and Internal Factors (Terminal’s Superstructure and Organisation).

Today, only four terminals in the world were successfully audited and received this certificate. The first container terminal in the world that received CTQI certificate was fully automated terminal in Hamburg – CTA.
